Colleen, Gillian and Lesley-Ann: Urban Air

Urban Air is geared toward reaching a diverse audience by featuring gospel music that is contemporary, uplifting and downright good for you.

Urban Air has been on the airwaves for years and the objective has remained consistent throughout this time. We aim to uphold the name of Jesus Christ to the people of Sydney through our music and our inspiring spiritual chat segment.

Colleen, Gillian and Lesley-Ann are the Urban Air presenters who share the program every Wednesday from 7 to 8pm. They are volunteers who are driven by their passion for Christ and His gospel message. When asked what keeps them going week after week: “It’s when a listener calls in to let us know how much they enjoy our program. One listener who had been ill called to say that it was Urban Air that saw her through the worst 3 months of her life. Its messages like these that make our work worthwhile. We know we are doing a good work when we are being used by God to be a beacon of hope to people out there who are alone and desperate”

“We encourage our listeners to call in as it’s this interaction that assists us with understanding our listener base. We want to play music that our listeners want to hear and we need them to alert us to their needs”

Urban Air enjoys listener feedback and listeners are encouraged to call in on Wednesdays when we are on air (02 9686 3888)
