Radio Mirchi, Bollywood filmi geeton ka sangam goes to air every Thursday from 7 to 10pm with your presenter Rajesh Batra. The playlist includes popular new tracks and golden hits from the past.
It’s a three hour program of the latest Bollywood songs, Ghazals, Remix, Bhajans, Punjabi songs and Bhangra music.
Requests are an integral part of the program, so if you would like to hear something special just give Raj a call.
The first hour of the program includes “Mirchi Lounge” at 7:30pm. This segment especially caters to the taste of younger listeners, covering songs and information about the latest Hindi movies plus popular songs of the week, .
“Mehfil-e-Mirchi” at 8:30pm is dedicated to listeners who love Ghazals.
The “Golden Hits” segment in the last hour is for baby boomers, and includes lovely and mesmerising songs from the melodious years of 60’s through to 80′s.
Radio Mirchi also keeps listeners informed about Australian-Indian community events in and around the Sydney metropolitan area.
