Get involved with the theatre in Castle Hill

Many people have a secret ambition to be involved with the theatre. Well, here’s your chance.

Castle Hill has its very own Pavilion Theatre. It’s run by the Castle Hill Players who were established in 1954 and have been at the Pavilion Theatre, in the grounds of the Castle Hill Showground, since 1966.

It is run completely by the members, both on stage and behind the scenes, and all are volunteers. The Players have earned a reputation for very high standards and are always looking for volunteers to get involved.

And there are plenty of areas where you might just find the right spot for you:

  • Acting
  • Stage Managing
  • Set Design and Construction
  • Lighting and Sound Operators
  • Directing
  • Costume design and production and
  • Front of House

It’s a great buzz to be in a group of diverse people with diverse talents, all working together to create a work of art.

For more information go to paviliontheatre.org.au/about-us/get-involved/ or phone the theatre on 9634 3846.
